Upon placing an order with us, you will need to supply us with personal information—information relating to your name and personal identity—which may include your name, residential address, email address, and phone number. We use this information to send your order and make sure you are satisfied with your products. Once you provide us with personal information, you can be assured that it will be used solely for the purpose of facilitating a happy customer experience. We take your privacy seriously, and will never sell, rent, or lease your information to anyone.

We will never ask for your credit card information, and will not store this information if received. All credit card processing is done through PayPal. Please read their privacy policy if you have concerns regarding the use of information provided to them.

Additionally, after purchasing selected products from Abbott Family Music you can register with us to download updates and learning aids. This service is optional. Upon registering you will need to provide us with your current email address, and select a password to use when entering the registered users section of this web site. As with all your personal information, this will never be sold to others.

On a lighter note: we are just normal humans like everybody else, so when answering email questions or fulfilling orders we may ask you questions like "what instrument do you play" and so on. We're just trying to be friendly, but if you don't want to answer you certainly don't have to. And of course we won't sell any of that info, either!

This web site may collect non-personal information about site usage that is not connected with your personal identity. We use this information to compile aggerate statistics on our visitors' browsing choices, which we in turn use to analyze the usage of our web site and improve it's usefulness. Information we collect may include specific pages visited, referring web pages, IP addresses, and browser capabilities. We do not use cookies or web beacons to track our visitors.

Email messages sent to you

Your email address will be used to contact you in the event of a problem fulfilling your order, and to facilitate our customers' satisfaction. If you choose, we can also send out notices regarding new products from Abbott Family Music that we feel you may be interested in. These emails are generally sent out only a few times a year (often only once a year). However, if you would prefer not to receive email from us, let us know and we will take you off our list.
