I see here that you ordered our Songbook and ToneWay Music Method a few days ago, yes? It should be arriving any day now (could be a day or two later than usual with the holidays, I s’pose…). We explain the capo in that book, mainly on the tail end of the “Roots of the ToneWay Method” section, but we also touch on it in the Guitar section as well. The capo is a very simple concept that can be very difficult for some to wrap their heads around. It can almost seem like magic until you understand what it’s doing: nothing more than raising the pitch (and thus the key) of everything you play in the instrument. Hang in there, you’ll get it.
